The Lost Cajun - Amarillo

Just off 40 and worth the detour. Service was top notch and friendly. Seafood gumbo, catfish and pasta dishes were awesome. They bring mini samples of different cajun dishes and every one was awesome, wish we'd had room for dessert.

Had the Vodoo Pasta, very tasty and served quickly. The Vodoo sauce has a great flavor and the the pop of the sweet bell peppers takes it to another level. The dish was loaded with andouille sausage and shrimp. Rather enjoyed the Gumbo sampler as well, all very good. The beignet is the perfect way to finish off the meal. Highly recommend stopping by for some good Cajun food.

Hands down the best red beans and rice I?ve ever had! It was was creamy and the perfect blend of spices! We ordered the petite flight and I had the sausage and chicken gumbo, my spouse had the seafood gumbo, and we split the red beans and rice. The gumbo was an absolute burst of flavors and I savored every last bite! We also ordered some hush puppies and of course beignets! The beignets are divine and covered with just the right amount of powdered sugar! Highly recommend! The staff is also wonderful! The prices are fantastic! We both left stuffed to burst for under $40 after tip!

The food is good but not great. It is, though, the best option for Cajun here in Amarillo. I had the catfish which could have been a tad crisper/crunchier. Our server was fantastic and she brought a sampling of a few different gumbo and bisque selections. The lobster bisque was a touch too sweet for my taste. But it was still plenty good. All in all it's an excellent value, for sure.
