Public House - Amarillo

This place is great in Amarillo. Nice quiet bar. Good food. Some craft beers. I ate meatloaf. It was great.

Steak was very thin for the price, Risotto was undercooked, and asparagus was cold.

I actually love this restaurant. But our last experience was a little lack luster of an experience for the price. Everyone has off days so I'm hoping that's all it was. I ordered the special. Fish and chips. I had about 5 very small nuggets of fish and unfortunately the malt vinegar spilled on my plate. I do not like malt vinegar. I did not send it back or complain because I wished to enjoy my meal with my hubby. We will be back for sure service was great and what I was able to eat of my fish was delicious. My husband enjoyed the fish I couldn't eat and very much enjoyed his stuffed chicken.

This place is an absolute hidden gem with a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The management and staff work together seamlessly, creating a fantastic dining experience. I honestly couldn't find a single fault. Additionally, there was a live folk musician in the corner whose performance was perfectly balanced—loud enough to enjoy the music while still allowing for easy conversation. Thank you for making my travels so memorable!
