Roasters Coffee And Tea - Amarillo

This is always a fantastic spot! It’s definitely one of my favorite coffee places in the area.

11/09/22 I’ve discovered my new second office at Roasters! The atmosphere, noise levels, and wifi all make Roasters on Soncy a fantastic place for work and business meetings. Plus, their coffee is far superior to my own! Beck, Erin, Matthew, Katt, Megan, and the entire staff create a welcoming environment, and this location is always clean and well-maintained. Oh, and did I mention their coffee is truly exceptional? VERDICT: OUTSTANDING! *HIGHLY* RECOMMENDED!

I’m a huge fan of Roasters—sometimes I feel like I’m betraying them when I consider going anywhere else! The Soncy location is closer to my home and a bit larger, making it more convenient for studying. I’ve been a regular for years, and the baristas have always recognized me and been incredibly welcoming. However, I’ve noticed a significant increase in new hires over the past few months, primarily college students. Unfortunately, many of them come across as stuck-up and rude, lacking basic people skills and not being welcoming at all. I’ve visited the Bell location a few times, and the staff there have always been sweet. I really don’t know what’s going on at the Soncy location, but the attitudes of the employees there have been disappointing. The extra miles to Bell feel worthwhile due to the friendly service. I would rate Soncy 3 stars, and that’s solely based on the poor customer service from some of the new staff. I understand that dealing with people can be challenging and that everyone has off days, so I usually give grace. However, the consistently entitled and rude demeanor I’ve experienced since the recent hires is concerning.

Outstanding coffee! I believe it surpasses what you would find at the large chain coffee shops.

What a charming spot! I only ordered hot tea, but it was excellent. It's a wonderful place to sit and have a conversation with someone on a chilly day—very homey and cozy!
