Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Amarillo

Great fast food fried chicken! This location in Amarillo is quite reliable. I absolutely love the red beans and rice! I’ll definitely be returning!

I absolutely adore the red beans and rice—I'm crazy about it! The chicken is also incredibly delicious.

This restaurant has truly improved over time. The staff is doing an excellent job now, even better than my last visit. If you haven't been here in a while, I highly recommend giving it another chance!

03/20/22: Overall, my experience with Popeyes wasn't bad the food was decent and the staff was friendly. I would point out that the drive thru's electronic menu, which is divided into three sections, has more items than it is able to display. As a result, the sections continually change with far too little time for customers to read, AND NO OBVIOUS WAY TO CHANGE IT. The end result is that customers must either use their phones to get the online version of the menu [inconvenient], ask the staff for menu information [time consuming and challenging due to noise levels], or try to read the ever changing screens [time consuming and aggravating]. Although I would love to rate this facility 5 stars, unless this fundamental issue is corrected, the best I can offer is 4. But the team itself did a great job. VERDICT: DECENT FOOD, BUT CHALLENGING DRIVE THRU MENU.

Took over an hour to get my order, at the drive through speaker they said they were making all orders fresh to be made, 25 dollars later they give us old shrimp and cut up chicken tenders, had to come back to drive through to be ignored while we honked and knocked on the window, we asked for our refund and they gave us our money back and slammed the window in our face, poor management poor service and sorry attitudes all around, we'll never be going back to that location, thank you Popeyes for ruining that experience for us.
