Don't miss eating here, everything is homemade and delicious, the staff super friendly and helpful ... and DONT MISS the bakery items, like chocolate dipped peanut butter cookie sandwich ... I just may drive back to have another of these, the most delicious cookie ever! Do yourself a favor and stop in ... yum yum yum.

NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Girasol is a hidden gem in Amarillo. Tucked away behind a convenience store, you might be tempted to judge it before you ever get inside. Let me tell you, it is FABULOUS! Whenever I get the chance, I treat myself to the best breakfast in town. Their patio is a nice little respite from the outside world. I have never walked in the door and not been immediately greeted by a smiling face. Their coffee is fresh, hot, and wonderful. The huevos rancheros is my go-to meal. Corn tortilla with a fried egg, green chile, potatoes, jalapeño bacon, and a side of black bean. Is your mouth watering yet? I forgot to take a picture before I started eating and then I did everything but lick the plate. Trust me, this is the place to go! Thank me later!

FOOD: I inhaled the Brunch Quiche with red peppers, squash among other things. By far, the best quiche I have ever had in my life! Sliced mango, strawberries, blueberries and mango fruit salad a roasted sweet potato kale salad. It was amazing! ATMOSPHERE: A little claustrophobic. Small space, communal seating in part employees buzzing by makes it a bit hectic. SERVICE: I have not seen the serious hustle that the staff did here. They were moving at light-speed! TIPS: take home something from the bakery because this place is going to stay on your mind hours after you leave!

Simple, easy to order and once again, coffee! The flavor of black coffee is yum and nutty. So, of course it is a must. Right now sitting outdoors is calming. The sunflowers are still in bloom and the birds create the music.

I have never once been disappointed in any meal or snack that I have had at Garisol Bakery. I’ve also been equally pleased with the service and kindness the owner and staff always provide. Today I arrived to a full parking lot another testament to the popularity of this little restaurant Once inside I heard a sweet voice mention to the owner that she parked near the furthest spot as all the handicap spaces were full This is not the first time I have seen this gentle person at this restaurant Without missing a beat the owner asked for the customers keys and she moved her vehicle up to a now open handicap parking spot close to the door Love in action! Plus amazing food!
