Quite simply the worst meal ever. Do yourself a favour and don’t go. Service poor, meal average at best.

Great spot to have lunch, full of Portuguese locals which is always a good sign of authentic food. Superb value for money.

Went for lunch on a very wet day. Sardines pleasant with very average salad and potatoes. Male waiters were all very rude and offhand to my friend and I. Dismissive attitude so if you're two ladies of a certain age don't bother.

We first visited this charming local looking restaurant on the 27/7/22; the place was packed and staff all very busy. Being the first in the queue, and finally being sat 20 minutes later, eventually our order was taken. We order 2 starters and 2 mains we were served 1 starter and 1 main. Received a few funny looks from the 'accountant ' lady sat in the open space office in the centre of the restaurant. Believing in 2nd chances, we visited again on the 31/7/22. First in the que again, and waiting 30 mins for our existence to have been acknowledged, my wife and I are objected to racial slurs in Portuguese from a female seated customer who assumes we are English. After finally being seated and another 40 minutes pass (those 40 minutes being prioritised for locals and larger families we remind the waiters that we exist and are seated in their restaurant. Our order is finally taken (1x starter and 2x mains roast chicken and cuttlefish with new potatoes . The mains finally arrive and are served an over cooked plate of chicken bones and baby squids with rice (the starter decided to leave town again I guess!? . By this time we realise that our custom and presence is clearly not wanted; refusing to tolerate this behaviour any further, we request the bill. Not surprisingly, they charge us for the starter we didn 't receive, which I raise with the waiter and who recalculates the correct bill. Upon handing them cash, they then attempt to short change us. A local restaurant for local people and those willing to spend in excess. Everyone else can go to hell your money isn 't good enough! ...... oh, and they had the audacity to charge us for olives, bread and butter which we hadn 't order (1 x euro for each little plastic pot bad comedy!

We were 3 having lunch and ate at the terrace. The environment is very good with a view for the Ria and staff is very warm and welcoming. We had fish soup (delicious), sword fish and sardines. The fish is very fresh and attractive. We experienced accordion music accompanied of an occasional singer, who was having lunch too. A very good experience to repeat.
