Lovely restaurant, good food and great staff! Well worth a visit. Luis the waiter, is a one man show!!

The staff are fantastic. Always welcoming. We had been outside most nights for a drink. But we were looking for somewhere to have food for my parents anniversary. They showed us around the restaurant, and we booked a table for the next day. Again when we arrived they were very welcoming and friendly. And because it was a special occasion, we got two bottles of really nice sparkling wine. For what we had food ans drink wise it was very reasonably priced. The view from the upstairs terrace at sun set is phenomenal. Would recommend this to anyone.

Looks can be deceiving, from the outside this place looks more like a 1970’s cafe ! Upper terrace gives gorgeous views over Alvor. Drinks reasonably priced. Great service, fillet steak on the hot stone was amazing.

Perfect for some outdoor dining and watching the world go by. We ate here at least 3 times and can't fault the food or service. The menu is typical of Alvor so always something to try. Loved just relaxing with a couple of beers and good food.

Set in a little square in the old town, Silmar is one of the first places we have a drink in Alvor. Always busy and good service as well as great for people watching. A pint is 3 euros and a glass of wine 2.5 euros. Well worth a visit
