Firehouse Subs Alvin Crossing

I can't recommend this place enough! I've tried subs from several stores before, but this one consistently makes the best subs!

This place can take a bit to make a great sandwich, but the employees offer a wonderful conversation every time I was there. the waiting time is worth the sandwich.

Made an online order and was called back a few minutes later. they were out of bacon, cheddar cheese and pepperoni. ok, no biggie I adjust our order. When I get there to pick it up, someone had taken our order and the kid at the window wanted me to take the wrong order like it was my problem someone took the wrong order. I told him no, I needed the correct order. they were just going to have to remake it. finally get my order and I'm missing a kids meal and 2 of the sandwiches were still wrong. Finally get 4 sandwiches, 2 of them with the wrong toppings and still have to ask for the rest of the kids meal. The kid just seemed so lost as what to do In such a situation. very frustrating as a customer. I ordered online so it would be ready when I got there, waited 20 minutes and STILL left with the wrong order!!

3 people working here and all took smoke breaks out back at the same time. 5 customers showed up while out back smoking. 2 customers left when on 1 came back in to work register. Poorly managed and no ice in ice machine. I have visited this place before and never had any issues. Staff needs to have some urgency in working here. Floors are dirty and maybe they need to be re- trained.

This establishment is so incredibly slow. They make sandwiches.. somehow it takes them 20 30 mins per sandwich. I resorted to ordering on the app, but that doesn't help. Tonight I ordered my food on the app at 725pm. The app said it would be ready by 745pm. I showed up at 745pm, only person in the drive through, and they said they were making the sandwiches. The app said they would be READY at 745pm, not starting them. It is 803pm now and I am still sitting in the drive through at the window waiting... they just came and said it will be a few more minutes. This is about the speed I experience every time I come here. I would say they work at turtle speed but... that would be an insult to turtles worldwide. Every time I try to go back here and give them another chance, they fail. And in most cases my sandwich is soggy as if all the wait time it was sitting on the counter getting old. I'm so unimpressed with this place. How they are still in business is beyond me.
