Went there on a Saturday at lunch. It was recommended by a colleague. The salad was wilted and the bread was hard but the pasta was really good.
We have been going to Nicky's since they opened to support local business in Alvarado. Tonight was the worst. Starting with stale rolls. Too many other places to spend our money.
I moved to Texas from NY a year and a half ago and this was the best pizza I've had here in Texas hands down. It's better then many places in NY that I've been to. I'm looking forward to bringing my girlfriend for dinner one night.
Loved it! We were searching for a place to stop between Waco and Denton, TX. Got on our maps app and Nicky's Saucy Italian came up with good reviews. When we drove up, we weren't so sure. It's in an old, worn, building. We saw a guy coming out with a couple pizzas and a to-go box, so we asked him if the food here was good. He said it was amazing! The interior is not fancy, but comfortable, and clean. We had a young waiter, Colton, who took good care of us. There were some locals seated close to us who said they love this place and come here often. And the food? It was incredible! We all had different dishes, and none of us were disappointed. My 3 friends and I think it was the best meal we had on our 4 day trip to Texas. Would love to return someday!
