Montezuma Mexican Restuarant - Altoona

My whole family including my 2 and 5 year old granddaughters went to Montezuma Mexican Restaurant in Altoona, PA. We are regular customers of the Montezuma Mex. Restaurant on LWE, Chambersburg, PA. But, when we visit our grandchildren we love to go to their Altoona Restaurant. We had excellent food, wonderful service, and personable staff. The waiter went out of his way to be sure my little toddler granddaughter had what she needed and what food she liked. Even after she threw a forkful of refried beans at him. We made sure he was tipped more than 18% because although we tried to keep her from making a mess, she was too swift for us When we tried to clean up a bit he encouraged us to let him take care of it. He was wonderful. Our family of 6 were seated promptly in a very comfortable area away from crowds. We will be coming back as soon as we can!

Cute little restaurant run by a mother and daughter (from what I've seen) This place is more "authentic" than Montezuma's.

Amazing food, heart staff. Love the house hot sauce!! Takeout is a nice option, Great food!
