Menchie's Frozen Yogurt - Altoona

We love this place! Edit, a year later. We used to love this place. Idk if management has changed, but it as drastically gone downhill. Often times, we have been here hours before close (like 4:30 or 5:00) and they are out of half of their flavors. We usually don't get greeted when we walk in, workers are just goofing off with each other and they are out of the best flavors. I don't know how you can be a frozen yogurt place (literally, that's all they serve) and always be out of half of what you sell. It seems lazy and unprofessional. We usually end up going to Dairy Queen. They always have what is on the menu.

I love this spot. So many flavors to chose from. Its self serve. (Thank God cause those girls are almost always on their phones or talking to eachother) The establishment is great for a wonderful price. And as for staff, I think its the age group they hire tbh.

Delicious! The place is always clean, and the staff is consistently friendly. Whenever my kids choose a treat spot, it’s always Menchie's! I’m more than happy to go along with their choice.

The clerk also informed us that on Wednesdays, we could enjoy unlimited servings for just $5 and mentioned waffle bowls as an option. Excited, we grabbed our cups and filled them up. However, when we reached the register, the total came to $25. We explained that another clerk had told us the price was $5, even pointing her out to the cashier. Unfortunately, we were told that we had selected the wrong cups and that there was nothing she could do about it. It would have been helpful if the clerk had informed us that the promotion only applied to specific cups, especially since it was our first visit. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I don't plan to return. I'm giving it 2 stars because the place was clean, and if you're looking to spend $20 on one of the limited yogurt options, you might enjoy it.
