Hy-vee Bakery - Altoona

Even though I live closer to another gas station by my house- I continue to go to Hyvee gas station here in Altoona. I go occasionally (Monday-Friday) for coffee I know for a fact they have excellent morning staff!!! The staff is marvelous and super helpful/friendly. In down pouring rain, I was escorted by employee named John with his umbrella! Amazing! Also, Jeff the manager is super cooperative will go out of his way to make your visit the best he can. I always look forward to my coffee trips- thanks guys!

There I was looking for a cake and they had exactly what I wanted at the price I wanted it wasn't too busy and I had three people wondering if I had everything I need.

We make a lot of shopping at this hyvee, I am very upset as they change for hours. They've been on the way for years. I have been terribly anxious and enjoyed going into the load when it was not busy. As the young workers treated us tonight was a sweat. They have made a final announcement about the pa every minute for the last 10 minutes. then one of the workmates said a young child working from the cool section that you get the **** out, then saw us and turned bright red. then we went to check that they could not take our fuel savings because the system makes a restart at midnight. they wanted to get us out, but they were sure that heck won't be helpful. if their system makes a restart at midnight, then they do not close their load at midnight and force them all to checkout where they can not even properly check.
