La Sierra Mexican - Alto

Tried their food for the 1st time in 4 years living in Ruidoso and being hungry and pregnant I tried their sour cream enchiladas. I tried to take a bite, the tortilla was hard and there was hardly any meat. There was zero flavor and I politely told my server and asked to try something else. She told me thats how the flautas come and theyre supposed to look. I told her I ordered the sour cream enchiladas..... So I ordered the beef enchiladas and zero flavor again. Im no cook but I have had better food elsewhere. I took 3 bites and asked my bf to try it so im not trippin. He made a face as well. I told the server im sorry but this is not to my liking and had a few bites. She said I still had to pay for it. I told her w force that I wasnt paying for it and apologized. She went away pissed off and charged my bf for his meal. I told her I know it wasnt your fault the food just didnt have any flavor and she replied with, im just a server. I asked why my bfs meal was 18.00 he only had 3 small tortillas and not even a full soda, she explained but in a rude manner. NEVER AGAIN with this place and can see why they always have an empty parking lot.

Average food. Quick friendly service. Music was on and appreciated. Sadly the windows looking out over the mountain scenery were horribly dirty!? WHY?

So never had a burrito that was nothing but ground beef rolled up in a tortilla, that's it. The rice and beans had absolutely no flavor. Enchilada was worse than what comes in a tv dinner. In fact save your money and go get a couple Patio tv dinners. On the plus side the young waitress was very pleasant.

Great food. Really good lunch prices. This place should have a minimum of four stars. Hatch Chile rellenos were amazing. Beans had great flavor. Staff was friendly, courteous and prompt

Do not go to this place if your expecting authentic Mexican food. It was cold when it arrived at the table and all 4 in our lunch party were 4 out of 8 people in the whole restaurant. Overall the place was very dirty, bathrooms were disgusting
