Gelateria Solaria - Altino

The wild man! smile when you cross the threshold! Try to believe!

We were recommended this place by a friend. We were delighted when we tried it. The gelato is delicious. The place is beautifully furnished. The people in the store are very welcoming and friendly. There’s plenty of off street parking. We only visited during the day but it looks like it caters well for the night birds too and has a well stocked bar. Highly recommend for an afternoon hang out with friends or maybe evening drinks before cena.

I have been coming here for years as it is always on the way home or going out.. I love the home made icecream esp the hazelnut and chocolate flavours

Although, by the side of quite a busy road it has a lovely feel to it and is a superb place to stop when out shopping or on the way back from sightseeing or visiting the coast. It is a great place to have coffee, gelato, panino or aperitivo. Not all at the same time, of course. We have always been made to feel welcome and like the fact that it is full of locals or visiting cyclists.

I always taste the new flavors of ice cream! I'm so good! It's a nice place to get to friends!
