Taj Fine Indian Cuisine - Altamont

Terrible experience! It was a complete waste of time and money. Out of the five different dishes we ordered, four of them came with the same bland and unsuitable sauce. To make matters worse, there were gnats buzzing around our faces and food throughout the night. One of our group ended up with an upset stomach the next day. Avoid this place!

However, I have an update: the chef has apparently changed, and my usual Chicken Tikka Masala was a letdown last night. The sauce was more like soup, and despite requesting it extra spicy, the dish contained jalapeños, which isn't a traditional Indian spice. Additionally, there were no more complimentary popadam, and the warm welcome we had previously enjoyed was missing. To top it off, the prices have increased significantly. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this restaurant.

I had only heard about this restaurant until today, and I must say the food was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly helpful, and the place was spotless. I will definitely be returning!
