Contribuiți la feedbackI follow this cook since 2001 Seems since that time he not only grows his family all involved in gourmet food and the result was excellent. They take care of the quality of the ingredients The ravioli filled with spinach was excellent The best Ravioli you can find in Argentina is a shame they are in such a small and wide city, instead of being in Buenos Aires
The food at HERENCIA is not disappointed! Your fabulous lunch menu with appetizer, main plate and dessert is a selection of chicken, meat, sometimes fish and a pasta dish that is delicious and beautifully presented! Price/quality is excellent as the excellent service. I If you visit the town of Alta Gracia, HERENCIA is worth a visit!
I was with a few friends, this is a great place near Altagracia Downtown, kind of gourmet menus, great attention! I do recommend this place
Alta Gracia is a small, charming town about half an hour outside Córdoba. There you can visit the house where Che was born and tour the Museo Estancia Jesuitica. After a relaxed day to stroll around and see the sights, I recommend a late dinner in Herencia (late dinner, of course, the only dinner you will find in Argentina). The food was extraordinary. In a review for another restaurant I wrote that I had found the best Mollejas in Argentina. I have to change this explanation now. The Mellejas I had in Herencia yesterday are the best I tried. They were goats instead of beef, and they were amazing: creamy, subtle, much lighter than beef sweets, not in the least oily. We had this served as an appetizer, along with a heated mini wheel of the bride with boiled pears. A wonderful synthesis of aromas. For the main course, my wife and I shared an enormous (almost a kilo of bone-in strips of Sirloin (bife de chorizo). It was excellent... I like to have enjoyed the accompanying Demi glaciers just as much as the meat! (The only reason the restaurant is not to give five stars is that beef, while excellent, was not on the very, very upper level. We finished with Irish coffee and a heavenly flan served with dulce de leche. The service would not have been better. Our waiter Adrián was warm, funny, helpful and extremely attentive. The room itself, with its high ceilings and old world charm was a beautiful place to enjoy such a fine meal. Very recommended.
We were late in arriving for luch but were made very welcome nonetheless. the staff didnt speak much english why would they ? but we managed to converse in spanglish. we had the set menu which had a few choices, and where we didnt like something they offered a substitute not on the menu. to finish the meal we were given a complementary glass of local wine which was much appreciated.
