The fries are exceptional—crispy crinkle-cut style and seasoned with Fred's unique spices. The shakes are made the old-fashioned way with the finest vanilla ice cream and real fruit flavoring, reminiscent of the 1960s. The decor brings you back to a simpler, happier time. I've visited frequently and have tried everything on the menu, and I can confidently say everything is great. The prices are fair, making it worth the trip to the Alps. By the way, Fred is a real person, and you can find him working most weekdays and on Saturday afternoons. You won't regret stopping by!

This place is easy to overlook since it doesn't have much of a sign. Like many hidden gems, it's well-known among the locals. If you're looking for a great burger, this is pretty much your last stop before heading out of town. I highly recommend pulling in and grabbing a couple of burgers for the road at Fred's!

This is the best burger place I've ever visited. The flavors here are far superior to those at In-N-Out or Smashburger. They've truly mastered the art of crafting a burger. The correct way to enjoy one is with all the toppings on the bottom and the patties on top. You'll really notice the difference in taste compared to other burger joints, and it all comes down to the way the ingredients are assembled.

A week ago we went to Fred's Old Fashioned Burger. I had a quarter pound burger with bacon and my husband had the same, but bigger. came with delicious frits and a drink. It was great and very fast. Service is always friendly.
