Joe's New York Pizzeria - Alpharetta

The food at this restaurant is delicious, with a fresh crust and quality ingredients. My only issue is that when I arrived to pick up my pizza, the staff seemed more focused on talking to customers who had already placed their orders, rather than attending to those who were there for pick-up. I am unsure if these customers were regulars or just bored due to the lack of other people in the restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover excellent pizza in Georgia. While growing up here, my experience was limited to bland options. Coming from Chicago, a city known for its pizza, I am quite particular about the quality of pizza. During a family road trip, we decided to stop in Atlanta for the night and stumbled upon this restaurant. I highly recommend it with a rating of 10/10. I was impressed by the fresh ingredients and diverse meat toppings they offered. The only critique I have is that it needed a bit more garlic and salt. The tomato sauce tasted homemade and the sausage was seasoned perfectly. The service was typical of what you would expect from young servers. They allowed the children to order for themselves, and we were seated at two separate tables due to the size of our group. While some servers typically verify orders with parents for allergies or cost concerns, this was a minor issue compared to the delicious pizza we enjoyed. Overall, I consider it a win.

The crust is crispy, thin, and holds up well under all the toppings. The sauce is perfectly sweet and tangy, and the cheese is of high quality with a great flavor. The service is always quick and friendly, with staff eager to accommodate any request and make you feel at home. In my opinion, Joe's is definitely worth your time and money.

Basic pie, nothing special. Thicker crust. Greek salad was a garden salad with feta and oil dressing.

Since I've been in Alpharetta, I have been searching for a slice of pizza that reminds me of NYC. Unfortunately, there was nothing close to the pizza that I grew up with...the best pizza in the country! Until I ate at Joe's. It simply brought me home!So much so, that I was expecting to hear the R train rumble by. Great sauce! Great crust! Great food!
