Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The cracker barrel is again as reliable as the movement. it plays no role, it plays no role on the day, it plays no role of the server. it is always slower service with a smile and moderate eating. the salat is very economical with huh. the grain is oily and the sides are always light over warm. now with the bad things out of the way, cracker barrel has an amazing filiale and great selection of southern chars. eating is deep south with notions of appalachian and carolina. so turnip greens, fried chicken and river fish. breakfast is a seafood and agricultural kitchen. it is first wave, so they do not expect a high kitchen. all said as long as they deal with temperature-controlled expectations, they will not be disappointed.

That was great. try the southern fried chicken. the wife had the roasted beef and both dishes were great! but the best part of this visit was the service. the best server I've ever seen. kayla was super friendly, checked us all the time and ran her back end of all the time when we were there. it is the true definition of superior service and service with a smile. mgmt, give the girl a salary increase. she is a big brand ambassador for cb! when they load in this, they sit in their section!

Had a great breakfast today, mamas pancakes and a side loaded hash brew. the only sad thing was that due to lack they do not have the small flake syrup. the service was great, eating was served at the right temperature. many coffee refills, we are satisfied.

My favorite waitress Melissa suggested that I try their Fish Fry on Fridays. I did, and it was wonderful. It's now become my regular Friday fare. I will suggest that you NOT pare it with their Cole slaw unless you desire dessert with your entree. The slaw tasted like it contained a cup of pure sugar in it. It almost made my stomach do flip flops! I like pie, cake, and cobbler, but not in the middle of my main meal. This past Friday I substituted the steamed broccoli. 100% better.

Several members of our party had cold or lukewarm food. 1 plate of grilled chicken was charred on the outside but raw on the inside. Our waitress was great until the end when she mixed up orders on our tickets. Everyone else in our party paid and was ready to leave. It took over 30 minutes to correct the mistake. Then they still charged for the chicken that was raw and sent back. The manager seemed to not care. They did finally remove the chicken from her bill.I was very disappointed.
