This is an all likelihood the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food is always great and the service is beyond what you would expect. Highly recommended!!
I was shocked. First off, the quality and quantity for the cost ratio was unreal. Much of the food/ingredients are home made and you can tell. I was shocked by the menu prices; they truly are a two dollar pricing restaurant with 5 star quality food and service. We had the fried zucchini, tortellini champagne, and the steak Americano. I ordered medium rare and it was the juiciest pink temperature with perfect crisp searing. The service stood out to me the most. It is a family owned family run business, and you can tell by the personal touch that you get. Cari greeted us and sat us, and her brother Alex waited on us, and they were sociable, knowledgeable, and personable. They truly cared, and you could tell. I can't say I've gotten better service in as long as I can remember, and I work in the service industry. The family owns the restaurant and the wine shop next door. The restaurant itself is great. You'd be surprised looking at it from the street. It's right by espressos which is also great, but once you get to their patio it feels like you're sipping wine at a villa, and the inside decor is very authentic Italian. Comfortable booths and tables, with romantic low lighting, and the bustling noise of clanking plates and excited chatter. Great experience. I highly recommend! I was recommended by a coworker, and I am glad I gave it a try. Don't believe the negative reviews that are isolated incidents, those people missed out and didn't give them a chance to show their best. We will be back!
Sorry to say this, but this experience was not good. Place as packed. I am assuming an owners son was our waiter. Dancing while explaining menu, telling us that the 93 acres near there is where all vegetables are grown. Wow this place is not hurting. The seafood (clams, mussels, shrimp, and so on) with pasta. Tasted like pasta in seafood water with tomato base. No flavor. Friend had the lasagna and she also stated no flavor. Not that they are mean or anything, but not sure what the hype is all about. I guess not my cup of tea.
This is a local restaurant for me and my family and we are regulars (about once or twice a month)... well not anymore. We had a reservation at 4:45 yesterday... Service was really, really slow it took over 45 minutes to order...the owner came over and just made a comment that it would be a couple more minutes... it was another 20 minutes. My wife ordered the Grouper special and frankly it was awful, she left most of the food on the plate, I ordered the Suprema Di Pollo Scarpariello... it came with no sausage and the server didn't seem to believe me when I told her... she came back half way through the meal with 4 tiny pieces of sausage.... Not once did a manager/owner come back to the table to check on our food.... finally the decaf coffee had zero taste... overall this was an awful experience, I was very disappointed but even more disappointed that no one seemed to care enough to make it right... you have lost a regular patron of your restaurant. I would like to update my review, The owner of Casa has really gone out of her way to reach out to me and she is determined to make things right. I really appreciate the effort
