Nasi Lemak Royale Datuk Kumbar

This is a must for my every visit to this town. This is old school Nasi Kandar. Their combination of multiple types of curry enhanced the aroma and flavour of this northern Malaysian dish.

It is not the normal nasi lemak. It looks like nasi kandar. My family and I really love this nasi lemak royale. This restaurant is very famous in Kedah. Please try!

Had this at one of its branch along Jln Datuk Kumbar. Not any fancy restaurant, but a simple eatery place which offer tasty Nasi Lemak at a reasonable price. Love their gravy especially, I preferred the spicy ones and had it poured on the rice. It costed me about RM6-7 (Chicken, Salted Egg, Greens and Rice). Drinks is about RM1.50 for Limau Ais (Lime Water). Great place for quick food or to hang out with friends for football match. Windy too. Recommended!

Lots of people queueing. Not the “normal” nasi lemak. It reminds me more of Nasi Kandar. It was okay only for me but I guess the crowd loved it.

Im not going to exagerate. Its the best in the world, period. You cant find the same taste elsewhere. Using original blend of herbs and spices. But one can not copy the master skill of cooking them perfect.
