China 1 - Almont

My husband and I live in Richmond and this restaurant is WORTH the drive!! So far, I have tried 3 different types combos and I loved each one. The portions are extremely generous, and the prices are great. The quality and size of the beef and chicken they use is very hard to find in a takeout place. By far the best Chinese take out place we’ve ever been to! Food is so great.

When I lived in Berlin Township, this was our favorite Chinese restaurant—actually, it was one of our favorite places to eat overall. I moved to Port Huron just over a year ago, and after trying numerous Chinese restaurants in the area, none compare to this one. I even drive to Almont and visit my mom in Emmett just to enjoy their food whenever I crave Chinese, especially their egg drop soup! I always end up ordering way too much, and we have leftovers for at least two more days. As long as I’m nearby, I’ll keep coming back to this place—I've got a trip planned for this upcoming Sunday!

Absolutely one of the best General Tsao Chicken dinners I've ever had! Excellent work!
