Nueva Taberna San Juan - Almería

We tried the house white which was chilled and served as a large measure. The tapas on offer included prawns and sardines which we tried. The prawns were excellent. Very sweet and cooked excellently. The sardines were also grilled to perfection. Moist fresh fish.. just a squeeze of lemon. The meat fell off the bones. There wasn't seating outside.. but it was nice and cool inside. The service was good and the young lad behind the bar helped us with our choices. The fish in the cabinet display was very fresh.. the eyes of the fish bright and sparkly. They also offer other tapas that's not fish based. Certainly worth a visit and excellent prices €2.70 for a glass of wine and the tapas.

Highly recommended after visiting several bars in almería this was the only cheap, with good quality tapas and a very pleasant service. if they're looking for a good tapas, don't hesitate. 1.20 a cane, in this area this is a great luxury

Un poco lento en el servicio, pero las tapas son excelentes, los dueños son muy simpáticos y los empleados muy amables.

The lids inside the normal, the excellent service, a ten to the super friendly and pleasant waiter. I'll be back for the sevice.
