Praia Da Riviera - Almada

Riviera was an amazing find. Located on Costa da Caparica, Riviera has an incredible menu with amazing drinks! When we arrived (early on a Monday), none of the staff spoke english, but we were able to use google translate for a near seamless conversation. About an hour later, an english-speaking staff member continued to assist us. This restaurant has incredible umbrellas and beach chairs directly on the beach that you can rent (I believe we paid €15 for an umbrella and two beach chairs). The mussels were amazing and the staff was incredibly helpful. I look forward to coming back to Riviera the next time I'm in the area, and would recommend it to anyone!

Come here on a Sunday afternoon, although the location is amazing the service needs improvement . Asked twice to get a menu and after 20 minutes we went to get it ourselves. Every time we needed something we had to request it multiple times before it finally came.

It was my first time eating at a beach restaurant and I was well impressed. The staff were extremely nice and attentive. We wanted to sit at the outdoor seating to be able to watch the sunset in the sea. It was amazing and I truly felt privileged. The menu has really affordable meals which is insane for that location. Honestly never thought I would be able to eat at a place like this. I would have liked to see some street lamps/those small solar garden lamps near the wooden walk way from the restaurant to the parking space. We left just before the restaurant closed and it was too dark to see the walkway. The food was excellent, the sangria could have a bit less juice and more alcohol was was nonetheless very tasty. The meal was really well portioned, typical of any Portuguese restaurant which is probably double of the UK high street chains! Lovely spot, hope to come back another summer find the same quality.
