The Catfish Hole # 3 - Alma

Seemed a little short staffed but our server and bus guys were always polite and did a great job anyway. Catfish was great, hush puppies amazing and my wife?s chicken was a little dry and tough but over all decent experience

Let me tell you something about hospitality, it 's called Catfish Hole ... If you happen to visit Alma Ar. Your visit isn 't complete without going here. It is absolutely the best there is... The food, the staff, the whole idea that they have about people n food is absolutely awesome! Please be there when I get back... My belly was smiling, and so was my family... It 's rare to get good food, and good everything else in one place... Keep doing what you 're doing, I 'll keep coming, thank you so much for a great experience...

We came in at the end of a rush. Our fries were soggy and cold and our fish wasn't the best I've had but the service was top notch! We were so well taken care of and checked on. Our servers were sweet, kept our drinks full and brought lots of hushpuppies (which were delicious!! We will definitely be coming back from the service alone.

We loved this place! My husband and I had regular combos which included up to three entrees, fries, coleslaw (for the table), green tomato pickles, dill pickles, and hush puppies. He had the frog?s legs and catfish fillets, while I had the catfish fillets, fried shrimp, and clam strips. Our older kids had salmon, and boiled shrimp, while our youngest was able to eat free from the kids menu. He chose the chicken. All of the food we had tasted amazing! It was seasoned perfectly, with more than generous portions. We would have preferred a little less breading on the frog?s legs, but that was our only less than positive comment. The staff were all courteous and helpful. Catfish Hole was a lovely place with a family atmosphere. We would go back often if we were local!

Food was great. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
