Bar Laitier Valkyrie - Alma

We discovered Valkyria last season and we were pleasantly surprised. As Montreal natives, we have many visits from friends during the summer season and taking them to Valkyria has become a tradition. Both children and adults enjoy the gelato with fruity and exotic flavors, all of which are delicious. The only flavor we don't recommend is white chocolate, not because it's bad, but because the other flavors are so much more distinctive that it can get lost if you try more than one.

This restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious gelatos, paninis, great coffee, and Belgian waffles. Guests can enjoy their meal in a cozy, intimate setting resembling a small living room.

The gelatos at this restaurant are made fresh on site and are absolutely delicious! I have tried several of the great options they offer and have never been disappointed. They also serve soft ice cream in cones or in various presentations. The owner also creates cakes using gelato, with several different designs available. They keep small cakes on hand for those who need a last minute dessert, but larger or custom cakes must be ordered in advance. You can choose the gelato flavors for your cake. In addition to gelato, they also offer delicious paninis for a quick dinner, such as the chicken breast and dried tomatoes panini. You can enjoy your meal inside or on the terrace.
