Allyn House Inn North Bay Kayaks

No answer from this business to my feedback, which was submitted almost two weeks ago, so here is my public review. this evaluation is only for the swiss, one of the allyn house inn's mice units and the answer of the management to the situation. access code gated enters into the property, good location, but that is where all positive ends. the Swiss are one of several mating units in their location shelton, wa. it has an outer staircase that leads to an incomplete roof floor at whose end is a bedroom. at the time of the visit was very much in construction below. the website says that the construction will not be in the way of stay, but the pictures on their website and the description will not show the inside staircase on the back of the space that ends with a door on the floor that cannot be locked from inside, and the door itself opens into the construction zone. none of the doors in this room have installed locks. we called the management at night at 10 o'clock because we arrived, but the call was not professionally processed. they could just let it go to voicemail, but when choosing to answer our call, they should at least listen to our concerns instead of calling it a city human problem and threatening to leave a bad review and ultimately tell us to stay or leave, but not call at 10 in the night. the wrong comment is my man to check the lock was unacceptable. somewhere during this call we were offered to go to the blue house, but we didn't know which blue house. we expected nothing nice of this place, but we expected basic security, security and private sphere and a measure to be at hand when we were talking. we never stayed. we were charged for the first night, but not the second. So, when they go a quiet one, out of the way of accommodation and nothing against lack of security and private sphere, this could be the place for them. but if they do, they can wait until at least the construction is complete, or at least doors with locks are present. really wanted to support this small local business, but just with a bad experience overall.

I was drawn to Allyn and was disappointed when the ice shop I loved closed. However, I was delighted to see that it had reopened under the same owner. Nathan has not let us down with the service and we will always recommend this place.

This is the best ice cream I've ever had! The staff is so friendly too!

We were just passing through and stumbled upon this charming little town.

I love the ice cream but they dont have a ton of variety on any given day. They dont pack the scoops down enough so they fall easy BUT they are kind and professional and helpful and I will always go back.
