Contribuiți la feedbackMy favorite restaurant in the Morvan! Isabelle and her husband consistently produce tasty meals, using locally sourced meat and produce - we've eaten here at least five times over the years. The reasonably priced "set menus" offer a chance to sample classic dishes, such as snails in garlic butter, chicken liver terrine with hazlenuts or hanger steaks from Charolais beef with wine and shallot sauce. The accompanying side dishes (fresh veggies, crusty potato cake) are simple and delicious. The cheese plate is generous and the desserts are also good - we particularly enjoyed the Creme Brulee. This is not a fancy, formal restaurant, but instead a family place that feels relaxed and comfortable. Drink an aperitif in the comfy bar or on the sunny terrace, then settle down to enjoy your comfort food.
Not good. Burned and raw burger in the petit loup meny. Over cooked vegetables, probably from yesterday. The house wine was good though.
The 'Auberge du Morvan' combines the warm welcome from Isabelle, an authentic interior wit real character with the exquise cuisine from Emanuel. This all for a very reasonable price in the middle of the unspoiled region of ' The Morvan'. We love it and like to recommend to all, the best place to eat in between Saulieu and Autun!
This small family-run restaurant is my favorite in this area! My husband and I have eaten here at least five times over the past seven years.
