Perkins Bakery - Alliance

Full disclosure, I joined their rewards club, so I get the emails re all the specials, a free breakfast for my birthday and some other perks. My favorites are all on the breakfast menu. It seems like a challenge these days to find eating establishments that know how to prepare eggs to order, but Perkins is very old school and reliable in that regard. It's good, no frills food and the servers are among the nicest you'll find. The menu was recently freshened up and the 55+ menu is affordable with just the right amount of food. I see more health conscious items along with well-prepared fresh salads. Of course the standard comfort foods are still available. This Perkins has a good bakery, with lots of muffins, cookies and their popular pies. BTW every Monday a piece of pie is free with an entree.

Understaffed! That is ok, but the staff they did have did nothing but complain. They told us everytime we asked fie something that they were understaffed. One time was enough. I get your understaffed. Do your best and stop complaining about it. When we got our food, it was good. I mean kudos to the chef. This is why I gave them a three star. Service: Dine in
