The Cornish Bakery - Allerdale

The coffee is the best in the Lake District and the pastries are unreal. Top class service, even when they were busy. We came here every morning of our holiday. My daughter loved the cinnamon swirls the most.

Popped into this bakery for lunch last Thursday. Both my husband and I had the large traditional pasty. We agreed these these were the best pasties we have had for a long time (we always have a pasty when we are on holiday). Lovely service by the staff and would happily recommend a visit.

Returned to this bakery after enjoying a pastie yesterday. Tasha even remembered me from my American “accent” never really considered I had an accent. Tasha was very kind and helpful. The coffee and pastries highly enjoyable: chocolate brownie, cherry almond croissant, and cherry rhubarb pastie. I’d order the same thing given the chance.

A scrummy, yummy rhubarb,apple and custard pasty. Coffee as delicious as ever and the team are as warm and friendly as always. Thank you ladies. We’ll be back very soon.
