Absolutely banging food, six of us piled in quite late in the evening after a day of mountain climbing, quickly cleared us a table and served us nice and quickly, food was top notch, particularly the pies, cheers The Bank Tavern

Fantastic choice of hot food and Sunday roast is the best we've ever had...been back twice more and had other food again excellent..the staff were amazing..Great atmosphere and brilliant friendly service. I have been here a few times. A good real ale destination. On this visit a customer accused Ic and Flic of being Gordon the Gopher ...luckily the barman knew Flat Eric and put them straight.We had an excellent pint each of Great Corby Blonde. Good pub and like most in the area it does lots of pub food. Boss liked the wine.
