Old Belmont Inne - Allentown

The bartender advised me to smile more and commented on how I looked when I arrived, which was unnecessary. The venue itself was decent, but the bartender frequently eavesdropped on my conversation with a friend and created an unwelcoming atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend this place if you identify as anything other than straight.

The atmosphere was incredibly inviting; both the patrons at the bar and the owners made us feel like long-time neighbors. After enjoying our delicious meal and some nice conversation, we left with a new favorite place to return to next time we're in the area. A big thank you to Kim, Chino, and the regulars for making us feel like old friends. And for anyone curious, the prices were as impressive as the food—top-notch all around!

I enjoyed the warm, friendly atmosphere of the old bar, perfect for gatherings with friends and family. The food was good, and the beer was nice and cold.

This review is from 2009 and should be taken down from this site. The Belmont Inn has a new owner, and everything I've learned about both the Inn and its new owner has been nothing but positive!
