Happy Sandwich Caribbean Cuisine

When we arrived an hour later, we were welcomed with a tasting of greens, curried cabbage, mauby, and pineapple juice. Ms. Carol truly nailed the flavors! Everyone in our large family enjoyed the meal, and we were even able to bring some food home for my mother, who is from Tobago. She was thrilled with her roti! My one-year-old could hardly chew his food before he was asking for more. He loved the greens, devoured the cabbage, and went wild for the roti. The only downside is that Ms. Carol doesn't have a location near me. I'm pretty sure I'd spend my whole paycheck there! If you're in the Allentown area or just passing through, I highly recommend visiting Happy Sandwich Caribbean Cuisine. Thank you so much for taking such great care of us, Ms. Carol! Not only is the food incredibly delicious, but Mrs. Carol's warmth and kindness make this place a truly special destination! I highly recommend skipping DoorDash or Grubhub and visiting in person to fully enjoy the Caribbean atmosphere.

This is the best Caribbean food I've ever tasted. Mrs. Carol (I hope I spelled her name right) is an amazing chef and hostess. She creates a lively and enjoyable atmosphere that perfectly complements her fantastic food and drinks. We tried the Beyond Double and her special Mauby drink, both of which aren't on the menu. After our meal, we couldn’t resist sampling her red curry chicken, and it was absolutely delicious—even though we were already full. This place is truly a hidden gem!

Someone posted a video of this place on YouTube and I decided to go check it out with my family and this place was absolutely amazing flavor quality seasoning and big portions everything was better than expected the owner treats you like family the minute you walk through the door we had the curry chicken double and jerk chicken double also mauby which is home made and the home made pineapple juice also we had the beef patties with the home made garlic sauce everything was amazing can’t wait to go back and try some more items from the menu

Stopped by while on vacation in PA, honestly the food in this area left a lot to be desired so we were skeptical but after seeing her reviews on Google and a video review on YouTube we decided Happy sandwiches was worth a try. The moment we walked in and smelled all the spices we knew we were right. Ms Carol the owner, beyond hospitable , so welcoming and attentive even though she was soooo busy. The food was soooo amazing. We tried a double and brown stew chicken which was falling off the bone and so flavorful. The curry cabbage was also a must . My husband and I loved everything to the point where we both agreed we’d probably never stop in Allentown again until we had her food . We’ll be back for that for sure. Ms Carol, you are a gem!
