Contribuiți la feedbackWe visited Lake Seneca last weekend to take the amazing wines up there just to open home and drink a bottle of your DeChaunac! Boy, he really missed your wine! Next time we have to pack a bottle with us.
It is a beautiful, peaceful, high-class establishment that offers a fine line of wines and many gift ideas. I love her Pinot Grigio and friendly atmosphere. I'll return soon, maybe for a tasting!
Make sure you do not pass on the winery 5pm. Your website says they are open until 530. We arrived at 450 and ordered wine flights. Around 5:10 the owner came out to us to clear empty glasses and “joyed” and to finish our drinks (at least we literally set ourselves simple.) At 5:32 we finished our drinks and the owner said that we had to “take the road down”. It was very upset about this comment and the way we approached.
Let me begin by saying that I bought many cases of their wine, personalized bottles in 1998 for my wedding favor. It was wonderful wine at that time or I wouldn't have bought it. Fast until this weekend at the Allentown Fair. I brought my 23 daughter and thought she would like to taste the wine of me and the wedding of her deceased father. Okay, so I'll explain one of the women behind the counter. She says I'm sorry we don't make tasting, but you can buy a glass of wine. As she tells us, we can see the other woman clearly, giving tasting for a couple that keeps her child down into the counter. I wanted to buy some bottles when my daughter liked it, but then we saw it! We just started going away because we were both a little upset about how to treat fools. We saw clearly how the older woman looked at the woman who gave the tasting, and she said yes, I know. And they both looked at us when we left to see if we really understood it. That made me and my daughter feel so bad. Honestly, I would never buy from them. Obviously we didn't look good enough to help them. Your loss. I can afford much better wine, then they can offer, but they ruined the precious nostalgia of the moment for us.
