Biryani City - Allentown

Food was very good: chicken biryani and onion spinach pakoda, which is breaded and deep fried. Mango Lassi, of course, was delicious. They don't have servers available, but we were able to sit at a table and enjoy our dinner. Employees were very nice.

I was craving for Indian food so took my American husband there for lunch. No server, all self service. You order the food and come in boxes. They give you paper plates if you want to dine-in. Honestly, I didn’t liked the food or the environment. It’s more like southern Indian flavor. Ordered butter chicken lamb korma. Korma was with curry leaves, and butter chicken was too sweet tomato sauce. I’m not sure if the cook knows to cook North Indian food. I like East North Indian food, Southern food is not my type.

Worst, I ordered paneer biryani (spicy). Veggies and paneer are not cooked properly.Taste is bland.
