Allentown Park Ascend Collection

Rooms were very spacious and I enjoyed the setup. Microwave and fridge were a huge plus. Anything we needed was provided quickly. The salt water pool was a different idea that we enjoyed and appreciated. The portable basketball hoop in the back was a great distraction and exercise for the kids.Rooms: 5/5

I stayed on the fifth floor with the rest of my family. It smelled like gas and unfortunately, there was nothing they could do about it. The pool also smelled like gas and it was really hot. Breakfast was pretty good, and the lady who checked us in while it was almost 11pm was really kind.Nearby activities: We stayed here for one night and the next morning we drove an hour to Hershey Park.

I think they have bed bugs. I'm all bitten up and itchy. The room is dirty and has stains everywhere. The bed was way to soft and so were the pillows. The pool is extremely shallow and small. The fitness room is a joke and equipment is in very poor shape. The dolly was stained and sticky. The only good things were they had free breakfast, 24/7 decent coffee, the shower was clean, a/c, tv, and fridge worked. The staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. I felt unwelcomed and it was dirty. I would avoid this place. Pay a little extra and go somewhere else. Don't make my same mistake and trust the reviews. I got home and I'm so sick and miserable. Save yourself the grief.

This is a nice budget hotel. Has all the standard amenities. In terms of cleanliness I would say 4/5 and the carpet looked old and somewhat smelly. Windows were relatively small. Daily breakfast was good. checkin was a breeze. I would say it is a nicer hotel for the price range but if you are expecting higher end hotels looking at the rating and star in google, it is not.

The staff at this hotel was friendly, hardworking, helpful, and kind! We were staying overnight to participate in an early race the next morning. Check out was late enough that we were able to return to our room to shower and pack after running. I left clothing on the door hook, and the staff was wonderful and expedient about returning it to me by mail! Would definitely stay again!
