Contribuiți la feedbackI began visiting the farmer's market at the fairgrounds with my grandfather back in the '60s. It remains a fantastic spot for purchasing meats, vegetables, and nearly everything else you could want. I find myself going there every week, and even if I don’t need anything, I enjoy being around the friendly community.
This restaurant offers a fantastic selection of local Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish cuisine. You'll find an abundance of farm-fresh produce, meats, baked goods, and various memorabilia. We make it a point to visit every time we're in Northeast Pennsylvania. The Ritz BBQ is also excellent!
This market is fantastic! I always look forward to visiting my sister and stopping by the market. It's definitely one of the highlights of my trip! The food is delicious, and the people are wonderful.
We picked up some dog treats and, following some great reviews, decided to try the Amish pretzels, which were absolutely amazing, as well as the BBQ, which was delicious. To top it all off, we discovered shoofly pie here too. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely return if we're in the area again.
The Farmers Market has a fantastic array of offerings! You'll find fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and an incredible selection of baked goods (I can't believe my haul included cookies, cupcakes, baklava, and a cheesecake brownie!). I definitely had to share some with my neighbor to ease my guilt! Hahaha! I've stocked up on enough vegetables for salads until my next visit next week, and the fruit is absolutely stunning. You really need to go and check it out for yourself. There are also booths featuring local artists and services, from artwork to clock repair. You can even find vacuums for sale! The list of offerings just keeps going!
