Spazo Restaurant Bar - Allen

I have ordered delivery from this restaurant many times without any issues, but my recent visit was disappointing. When we sat down at the bar, we were given water, but no one came to take our order. We were ignored for 15 minutes, despite staff members looking our way. As we left, the bartender attempted to wish us a nice day, but it felt a bit passive-aggressive. I have only visited this place twice in person, and both experiences have been quite negative—unlike anything I've encountered in this area. I won't be returning.

I chose to visit Spazo because it reminded me of the charming little Italian restaurants I love from the northeast. I rated the atmosphere 5 stars because it truly captured that essence. The place is small and cozy, offering a refreshing change from the typical doner restaurants we've come to expect in this area of DFW. I ordered the linguine pescatore and it was fantastic. The only thing I wished for was some good Italian bread on the table, but I understand that can be hard to come by in Texas. We will definitely return!

I posted a review about a month ago expressing my disappointment with the food at this restaurant. However, I've since returned and noticed significant improvements. Both the service and food quality have become impressive, and I'm glad I decided to give them another chance! I'm really looking forward to trying more of their pasta dishes. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, and there's even a lovely patio for dining outdoors. It's definitely worth a visit!

Best Italian food i ever had!!! Highly recommended. Everyone should taste the best marinara sauce and everything taste the same with that sauce. Pasta, spaghetti, lasagna. All same taste. Also the rock hard not so garlic breads! Amazing place! Please trythis place out!

As we were leaving, the person behind the bar tried to wish us a nice day, which felt passive-aggressive. I have only been here twice, and both visits have been disappointing. I won’t be returning to this establishment.
