La Madeleine - Allen

This restaurant offers a selection of well-known French dishes. The soups (in three varieties) were delicious. However, we discovered a stone in one of the spinach quiches. The staff should work on being more patient when answering customer questions. Strangely, the waitress only filled less than three-fourths of the cups for three glasses of fresh orange and lemonade juices. I have enjoyed dining at La Madeleine in Houston in the past, but I may not return to this particular location with my family.

I am disappointed to give this restaurant a low review. During my first visit, I noticed that the place was a bit dirty. We had to change tables three times because the first two were extremely sticky. On my second visit, I observed that they have a bug issue that needs to be addressed. Cockroaches were seen everywhere, which was disgusting and disappointing considering the food is really good. The cafe itself is cute and the staff are very friendly, showing good hiring practices. However, they need to prioritize cleanliness more as customers lose their appetite when surrounded by stickiness and bugs.

The food is consistently delicious at this restaurant, but I felt compelled to leave a positive review today because they were understaffed. Despite this, they apologized and provided excellent customer service. Good customer service can be hard to come by these days, but not at this restaurant! Though it took a little longer than usual, I still received excellent treatment and my food was served warm and delicious.

A nice and cozy restaurant in Allen to enjoy some classic french comfort food and bakery items. I love their chocolate croissant, almond croissant, danish, pesto pasta etc. These are my few go to items. Other times i love to try their pasta andsalad samplers which is fresh and very filling. The restaurant itself is huge with two dining halls including a cozy fireplaceand also an outdoor patio. The staff is very friendly and they provide really fast service.

Nice quiet place, good food, and drinks, very good and welcoming staff, I will go again and again to this place
