Urban Thai - Aliso Viejo

Thai food is our absolute favorite, and this restaurant is at the top of our list. We ordered vegetarian dishes, and each one was bursting with flavor. The food was neither too salty nor oily, which is a refreshing change from many other Thai restaurants we've visited. We enjoy spicy food and have a high tolerance for heat. They allow you to choose your spice level from 1 to 5 and do caution that their dishes can be quite hot. We opted for level 3 and found it to be only slightly spicier than a medium level at other places. I would recommend ordering 1 or 2 levels below what you usually prefer. The sticky rice was creamier and more flavorful than at many other places I've tried. I’m definitely a fan!

Two. I was very pleased with my first to-go order of green curry chicken, so I decided to dine in. I ordered the red curry chicken, just like in the picture. The portion was generous, the flavor was fantastic, and it was packed with plenty of chicken and vegetables. The service was excellent and friendly. I’ll definitely be returning. All of their food is high quality and incredibly delicious. I highly recommend trying their soups, spicy noodles, and rolls. I often take some food home and warm it up the next day, and it still tastes as fresh as it did when I first had it. Just a heads up, they close early, so make sure to plan accordingly. Also, their Yelp hours may not be updated.

Tasty, fresh, fast. Courteous staff. Nice wait. Comfortable booth. Nice ambiance. Egg rolls were delicious.
