Cafe Uccello - Alice Springs

This is by far the best cafe in town. Don’t be fooled by the pink espresso machine. It functions to make the best espresso! Food is prepared by local owner/chef.

We popped down to the Todd Street Mall to check out the new 'Cafe Uccello ' that opened recently. This new space has been renovated and is a quaint cafe in the CBD of Alice Springs. They are offering a selection of Paninis, desserts and coffees as well as breakfast offerings. Make sure you try a cannoli with your coffee they are great. Cafe is open early through till 5pm. The staff are really friendly and fun and will make you feel welcome. Congratulations to local restaurateurs Lucy and Sebastian on branching out into a new venture.

Great atmosphere, super cute decorations. Love the pink. Very happy with the paninis (Had the BEST vegan panini ever from here) my partner really loved his smoothie bowl too. The drinks menu was a bit confusing to understand ask for. I asked for a mocha (half chocolate, half coffee) and the barista didn't really understand and then said they didn't do mocha's, so that was a bit strange. But overall, such a unique and cute place. Can't wait to see it grow into a bigger place with more seating!

I loved this place so much I went back the next morning. The beans and eggs are surprisingly delicious and a great price. The salmon was also nice. 3 coffees here so far and reliably good.
