Topo Gigio - Alicante

Not foten I write a review, but felt like this gem warranted a feedback. Great staff, and food was great. Had Diavolo and Hawaii pizza, the Hawaiian pizza was a 10 out of 10. Best we have had. Would love to come again!!

Me and the family had a day trip to Alicante, walking down towards the water front it was a pure accident we found this place, saw the tables and chairs outside. Give it a try, we weren't disappointed the food was great, the waiter was brilliant, a nice atmosphere and not to expensive. Next time back in Spain will definitely call in again.

We went for a spontaneous meal here and the food was divine! However the let downs were the following The air con kept leaking over my partner we told the waiters about this twice and we weren’t moved and it wasn’t fixed. There was no other space to move around to avoid it. The old waiter we had was incredibly rude he couldn’t understand us when we wanted to order an extra main and embarrassed me infront of the restaurant by wanting me to explain to him why we needed 3 mains. (One was a pizza, a carbonara and one was a chicken steak to share with my partner) He humiliated me enough that I was reduced to tears in the restaurant as he was indirectly calling us out on our weight. My partner wanted to leave immediately but I didn’t want to cause a scene. I have social anxiety and this sent it through the roof! I think the waiter needs further training in how to treat customers I was so embarrassed and felt intimidated by asking for an extra dish. Other than the issue above the food was incredible, they had a live pianist who was wonderful and the waitresses were really friendly.

Lo he visitado hoy por primera vez, ya que mi hija lo visita con abuelos cuando va a ser absuelta y siempre es amada y la verdad tenía razón. Lugar tranquilo (doméstico al mediodía) buena comida y exquisito tratamiento, sin duda respetaremos.

Lo conozco desde hace más de 25 años. es mi restaurante de referencia en benidorm. excelente comida y tratamiento sin igual. Paso temporadas de vacaciones en la zona, y más de la mitad de las comidas fuera de la casa están allí. súper recomendado.
