My Wife went to the Burger Rib place, in Departures, and asked for the Vegan Burger, after waiting around 35mins she asked for a refund as we had to go through Passport Control, this was met with indignation by the Spanish server who told her that the Burger was ready and after another complaint 10mins later she eventually got the Burger in a Take Away bag. When opening the Food after Passport Control she noticed that he had put 2 slices of Bacon on top of the Vegan Burger , obviously to spite her for complaining asking for a refund. I would advise anyone to go to Burger King as the wait will not be any longer and likely to get what your ordered and no add ons by spiteful staff
A major gripe for me any airport are the prices set by the pubs, cafés,bars and restaurants ,they know they've got a captive audience ,if one airport food area sums this up it's Air Food Court Alicante Airport. High prices in all outlets ,service below par ,it's an area to avoid ,if you're in need of something to eat before your flight buy something before heading to airport ,save money and the hassle .
You’d expect that with the low levels of flying passengers during the pandemic, you’d get good customer service at those airport eateries that are still open. Not so at EAT. Alicante Airport— a simple café late purchase caused my blood boil and I’m promising myself to avoid this outfit from now on whenever I can. The coffee menu above their counter clearly states that Latte Grande is €2.30 and Extra Grande is €3.10. I come up to the counter and order a “Latte Grande, please”, having previously and specifically checked the coffee sizes, nomenclature and prices on that very menu. I get served my cafe latte and charged €3.10 to which I state that I ordered a Latte Grande and according to their menu it costs €2.30. The server gets all worked up and says that the coffee I’m getting is the largest size and that it costs €3.10 — completely ignoring the fact that I did not order an Extra Grande. The server then starts to explain the sizes and prices and effectively tries to blame on me the fact she got the order wrong. No apology, no nothing just bad attitude! Shocking bad! It’s a small thing but it completely ruined my pre flight downtime and left a bitter taste... which I expected from the coffee, perhaps, but not from the service. To sum up poor customer service skills, bad attitude and a very poor experience, all in all!
If you want to get ripped of, enjoy some terrible crapy food you have to visit eat.coffee. Experience a real life scam how they steal your last euro’s and give you food that’s ready for the bin. My recommendation is to stay a way from the place.
