88 Sushi - Alicante

The fish was definitely frozen. I mean it was not frozen when served but kept frozen. Also, the worst spring rolls in my life. Smell of old cooking oil near the kitchen was horrible. The interior was nice though.

Warning coming to this restaurant! 3 of us ordered the buffet and only ordered a few dishes, definitely not an excessive amount and finished nearly all of it except for one dish we didn’t like (soggy curry vegetables and three pieces of sushi . Most of the food was alright a bit over priced for what it was but not bad. We had a nice time UNTIL we asked for the bill and the waitress came over and told us we had to pay 3€ for the dish we didn’t finish and 1€ each piece of sushi we didn’t finish. She said we should have read the fine printed rules on the back of the menu which they didn’t even think to tell us about when we came in. I understand this is a good rule to stop people buying too much food but we had only left one dish that we didn’t eat because we didn’t actually like it. She was so rude to us and complained we had been there too long we were so shocked and actually quite upset she spoke so rudely to us. She also said it was an all you can eat buffet but failed to mention we would pay for every bit we didn’t finish. We told her she should have told us about the “rules” before we ordered. Just a money making scam! Absolutely do not recommend because of her rude attitude.

High price food for low quality... And it is not a real bufet at all.

Good and tasteful dishes. Very nice staff. I liked the interior and so many different dishes!

Staff attentive and efficient. Very helpful if you are not sure what to order! Food is fantastic never had a bad meal; every time I get over 50km to get there. Definitely number 1 place in Alicante if you want high quality Asian cuisine. I hope to see you again soon:
