The Shredded Carrot - Alhambra

I was very disappointed,,,I know there famous for there carrot cake ,,but they sure suck making cakepops ,,I ordered 2d for my daughters babyshower this past weekend ,,when I picked them up ,,they weren’t the colors I had asked for , they weren’t wrapped like I asked ,they were huge ,,all different sizes ,,cake was sooooo moist ,,I think it wasn’t cooked all the way ,,I had 2 ,,and had a bad stomachache/diarrea,,,I didn’t complain at the time ,cuz the party had already started at the park ….unfortunately my family and I ,,and neighbors that love going there ,will not be buying from them ever again ,,,on top of that ,,another employee that was there ,,I think it’s the owners son ,,was kind of rude ,,I said hello to him and he didn’t respond ,,like really ,, what kind of customer service is this …..I really hope the owner reads this and fixes this ….????????

The chocolate cake was delicious as well as the cake pops. Haven’t tried the carrot cake yet.

I love this mom and pop bakery place. The ingredients are a always fresh. I usually get the carrot cake but today I picked up a ube cheese cake. I am particular with my cheese cakes. This was a 100% perfect in texture and taste. I will never go another place for my cheese cakes. Thank you Shredded carrot. ?

Taste like a homemade treat! The carrot cake was delicious. It was subtle and had delicate flavors. The exterior of the location is a little rough, but don’t worry, the inside is clean, quaint, and welcoming. Steady theme and decor throughout. Staff was solid. And the kitchen looked amazing. They have a lovely glass display with full-sized, freshly made treats. They also have smaller/single serving slices and editions in the small cooler off of the main display. A variety of goods…all look welcoming. Some street parking out front.Second visit: just as amazing as round one. Kind and patient team here. Mentioned what a hit the carrot cake was for us, and they introduced us to their hummingbird cake; a Jamaican inspired banana and pecan cake. The 9 inch cakes provide 6-8 slices; so there is a slight savings when you purchase the full cake versus slices. The 9 inch carrot is $25; slices are $4.50.Great spot. Wishing them much success!
