Lupita's Mexican - Alhambra

Not impressed! I wouldn't recommend this place—the burrito I had was the worst I've ever tasted.

Stopped by at an off hour (4pm on a Thursday) and was greeted with excellent and quick service. I tried the burrito gordido, and can confirm it is worthy of being one of their more popular offerings. The burrito was well made and had a good bit of flavorsgoing on. While the pricing was not bargain basement, they were certainly fair, especially for a restaurant that is more thanjust a takeout spot.

I really enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant, and the service is excellent. The woman in charge was particularly impressive. However, I must say that the chili relleno burrito was quite bland—not something I'd rave about. I've heard that their breakfast is better, so I think I'll give that a try next time.

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I loved it and can't wait to return!

I was quite disappointed with the Al Pastor burrito. It was primarily filled with rice and beans, and there was hardly any Al Pastor in it. You could easily call it a 100% rice burrito, which is nothing like the burritos you’d find at a traditional Mexican restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this place.
