Bangkok Thai Sushi - Algonquin

The service was excellent, the food was good, and the prices were reasonable.

I have visited this restaurant before, but this was my first time using the Open Table reservation system to book a table. When I arrived and showed the server my reservation confirmation email, she seemed confused and did not know what it was. After explaining that I should earn points from using Open Table, she asked her co-workers who also were unsure about any point systems being offered. The manager was not present at the time. I had to email Open Table when I got home to inquire about receiving points, as the staff at the restaurant seemed unaware of the program.

The dining experience overall was quite enjoyable. The best aspect was the value for the price. The ambiance was very nice and also practical. This was not an extravagant dining experience, but rather a good value choice. We ordered the sushi boat along with warm sake and Asahi dry beer.

Server was fantastic and on top of things, I just wish the sushi was as good. Sushi was average at best and considering the pricing I guess I just expected a little better quality.

The food is really good and made fresh to order. The service was very friendly, we will be back again real soon. I think that if you enjoy good Thai food it's worth trying.
