I came here for lunch on a Monday. It 's a typical Subway store. the staff was friendly and informative. My sub was made in just a few minutes. Not many customers at the time, but after I got my sub the place filled up and there was a line waiting to order. I ordered the new Flatizza . This is akin to the pizza sub they already offer. The difference is that it is on flat bread. It tasted good, but I thought the crust was tough and chewy. I will stay with the pizza sub or any of the many others they offer.
Whomever designed this store got the counter backward....checkout should be by the exit door. Also, do your employees a favor, for salt/pepper/spices, go to Restaurant Supply Store and buy 4 shaker containers with holes on Caps for $10.99....right now they have grinders that take employees 2 hands to use. Waited 20 minutes for a couples sandwiched today with 2 people in front of me.
I placed an order via the app and was EXTREMELY disappointed by the service. When my husband arrived to pick up the order he was told that the only order they had was not ours. After waiting for almost 20 minutes and giving the order number to the staff, they told him that it just didn't exist. The employees weren't very friendly and just really made my husband's night miserable. If there was a way to give zero stars then I would! Too bad that this is the only healthy fast food option in Algoma, because as far as I'm concerned I would rather drive the 20 minutes to Sturgeon Bay where the service is better!
These guys get stumped if I order more than 2 things.. They act like it's a hassle to slap some stuff on some bread and toast it.. oh.. And if you call something in for pickup, make sure you are prepared to drive back.
