Fish Tavern Nisiotiko - Alexandroupoli

I often visit Αλεξανδροπολ and eat very delicious and large porsion food in many restaurants by paying quite less. Last night, 30th of April, 2023, whlist i and my wife walking on the street due to Restaurant’s fancy looking we decided to test the foods. Unfortunatelly, the first and big dissapointment we have had since we came to the city for 10 years. All serving foods were both less delicous and very expensive. If you want to experience low quality food by paying much go there…I like every places of Αλεξανδροπολ very much but the Nisiotiko…

Although the restaurant was empty, we waited at the door as if we were going to eat free food. we were seated on a ridiculous table and there was no heating, we were cold even with our coats. The waiter did not come to take the order, although he passed many times, it is a disgraceful place, no sea view, the service is bad.

Food was really good, but service was horrible. We had a reservation, we got menus after I asked for them after 10-15min we were seated, other tables got theirs straight away. Food came really quickly and was very tasty, but when we finished, nobody paid attention. I had to ask for a bill and we were waiting at least 20min to get it.. 5stars for food, 1 for service, this make it 3

Thanks to great hosting of Ercan. All food was perfect. The best taste of Alexandroupoli. Kalamari with caramelised onion is very good.

The food is amazing, the service is so friendly and beside without expecting a great surprise Desert. Well deserved reviews!
