The Front Porch - Alexandria

We always enjoy visiting this restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and service are consistently excellent. Our server, Parker, is very attentive and ensures that our furry friend, Vader, is well taken care of. The frozen drinks are fantastic!

Today was a beautiful Fall Sunday and we couldn't have chosen a better brunch spot than the Front Porch! Lemme share with you why. You're literally on a porch area and the other outdoor area is a driveway, but you don't feel like it. They have a hippie garden vibe going and I'm all for it! Plus, look at the divine salmon eggs Benedict we had for brunch (see photo). We also shared chai french toast, mimosa and beermosa (which they called manmosa). It was a beautiful experience. Thank you, Front Porch! We will be coming back for more...

I visited this restaurant for brunch on a weekday, and I can imagine how crowded it gets on the weekends—so I recommend arriving early! The standout dish for me was definitely the croissant; it might be the best I've ever had! Their homemade jam is equally amazing and a must-try. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making for a lovely dining experience. We also sampled the lox and spinach with eggs, which was flavorful, and the quiche was enjoyable too, though it couldn't quite match the excellence of the croissants.

My wife and I met old friends for dinner. Great drinks and delicious food. The atmosphere open air dining on the back porch is what will bring me back.

I was truly impressed with this restaurant! We walked over on a Sunday evening and found plenty of adorable outdoor seating. The back area was set up for social distancing, and the service was excellent. We started with the zucchini fries and both opted for the salmon with Brussels sprouts for our main course. The salmon was not only beautifully presented but also came with an abundance of delicious Brussels sprouts. The entire meal was fantastic!
